1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how W.W. Productions LLC ("CineCirt," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CineCirt platform. It applies to filmmaker accounts, industry accounts, and visitors.

2. What we collect

Account information: name, email, school or company, and the profile details you choose to add, such as a bio, phone number, and social links.

Content: films you submit, artwork, credits, rights documentation, comments, category votes, and messages you send on the platform.

Usage information: how the Service is used, including plays, watch time and retention, clicks and hovers on catalog pages, searches, and device and log data such as IP address and browser type.

3. How we use it

To operate the Service: hosting and streaming films, running certification checks, managing accounts, processing industry plans, and keeping the platform safe.

To power discovery and analytics: viewing and engagement signals are aggregated into catalog analytics, such as retention curves, watch-time leaderboards, keyword trends, and genre demand, which help certified films get found and licensed.

To communicate with you about the Service, including certification results, licensing activity on your films, and product updates. You can opt out of non-essential messages.

4. What industry accounts can and cannot see

Industry accounts see certified films, their public metadata, and aggregate engagement analytics. They never see your contact information, and they cannot message you. There is no direct communication channel between industry and student accounts on CineCirt.

5. What other students can see

Your public profile shows your name, school, bio, films, and community activity. Your email, phone number, and social links stay hidden and blurred until you and another student mutually connect. Once you connect, what you share off the platform is between you.

6. When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the platform (such as hosting, streaming, and payment processors) under confidentiality obligations, in connection with a licensing transaction you have authorized through the Distribution License Agreement, when the law requires it, or as part of a corporate transaction such as a merger, in which case this policy continues to apply.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work without them.

8. Retention and security

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Films withdrawn from distribution are removed from the catalog as described in the Distribution License Agreement. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect information, though no system is perfectly secure.

9. Your choices and rights

You can access and update your profile at any time, disconnect from other students, withdraw films from distribution, and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as requesting a copy or deletion of your personal information. Contact privacy@cinecirt.com to exercise them.

10. Young filmmakers

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian to review and accept the Distribution License Agreement before a film enters distribution.

11. Changes and contact
